Welcome to CARMEN'S BRIDAL! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.carmensbridal.com and our bridal gown rental services. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Rental Eligibility

To rent a gown from CARMEN'S BRIDAL, you must:

 

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate and complete personal and payment information

  • Agree to be responsible for the care and return of rented items

2. Rental Period

  • The standard rental period is ANYTIME after the event no later than 7 days after, starting from the delivery or pickup date.

  • Gowns must be returned or shipped back by the agreed return date to avoid late fees.

3. Fitting and Sizing

  • We will take exact measurements at time of gown selection.

  • Bride is aware that normal alterations are included: hemline, minor body adjustments.

  • Bride understands that gown is tailored to her personal needs for her event.  Unfortunately, these gown CANNOT be sized up.  

  • If Gown reselection is needed due to sizing concerns of no fault to Carmen's: Bride understands that a reselection may be accessed depending on timeline and new needs.

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • We accept: ZELLE (no merchant fees) with 10% discount, add 4% merchant fees from SQUARE 

  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect confirmed rentals.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

6. Damage, Loss, and Cleaning

  • Normal wear and tear is covered in your rental.

  • Major damage, stains, or loss will result in additional repair or replacement fees. Please allow us to access - in 15 years, stains have come off.  We value our relationship and communication is important.

  • Do not attempt to clean or alter the gown yourself.

7. Ownership

  • All rented gowns remain the property of Carmen's Bridal. By renting, you agree not to sell, lend, or otherwise transfer possession of any gown to a third party.

8. Shipping and Delivery

  • Bride must be present at delivery for a final try on (is not a final fitting)

  • Driver's License must be present at pick up.

  • If no ID available - a security deposit will be accessed 

  • Security deposit may be accessed at any point or special circumstances - this will be discussed

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not responsible for: any allergic reactions or damages caused by gown materials

  • Event disruptions or cancellations

10. Privacy

  • Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and take appropriate measures to protect your data.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including images, logos, designs, and text, is the intellectual property of Carmen's Bridal and may not be copied or used without permission.

12. Modifications

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of MD, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
